Ignite imaginations is among more than 2700 recipients to benefit from the latest round of awards from the 1.57 billion Culture Recovery Fund.
This award will help us to secure our programme delivery for 2021 ensuring that we continue to celebrate and connect communities through art and creativity.
Ignite imaginations in Sheffield has received a grant of £30,000 from the governments culture recovery fund to help the organisation to look ahead to summer and autumn and ensure we can continue to offer high quality workshops and experiences.
Culture creates jobs, supports livelihoods, and brings joy to everyone. The UK leads the world in the creative industries and we can all feel pride in that.
We are hugely grateful to the culture recovery fund for providing us this support which will ultimately allow us to reach more people and support our community to gain new skills and grow confidence.
Now, in these challenging times, it’s our turn to show our support for culture. With an unprecedented investment through the Culture Recovery Fund, the government is #HereForCulture so it can weather the storm of coronavirus and come back stronger.
And we are #HereForCulture too.
#HereForCulture is a movement that unites the public, government and cultural organisations in support of our fantastic cinemas, theatres, music venues, museums, galleries, heritage and arts organisations.
With more and more culture being curated online, there is no better time to support and enjoy all the new and exciting ways culture is available to us.
